I have been practicing law in Southeastern Wisconsin for my entire legal career.    I grew up in Racine and graduated from Horlick High School.  While attending the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, I graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy and Political Science in 1991.

I graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School, where I earned my law degree (JD) in 1994.  After that, I returned to Southeastern Wisconsin, the area I love so dearly, to raise my family and to practice law.  I have enjoyed owning and operating my own law practice since 2001.

I also serve as one of seven guardians ad litem in Kenosha County since 2007.  In this position, I represent the best interests of children and disabled adults.

As a wife and mother of two teenaged girls and one adult son, I find time to bring them all the joy and love I can.  My passion for caring extends to animals, and I have spent time volunteering with a horse therapy organization - SMILES of Darien, and more recently, fostering dogs through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue.   Our family currently has two rescued dogs of our own - Bo and Indy.

When it comes to sports I'm a huge Brewers fan! Running, biking, hiking, and kayaking are a regular part of my life, both by myself and with the family.  Our family has enjoyed many camping trips throughout the midwest to experience and gain a deeper appreciation of all that nature has to offer.
